This is a simple and elegant dinette table that is truly one-of-a-kind and changes throughout the day as the sun sets on this piece of functional art. On one end of the table, the Detroit river flows from the Lasalle and River Canard area and flows to the main feature which is the mouth of Lake Erie (Ontario, Canada). Along the way you will see Fighting Island, Grosse Ile, Crystal Island and Stony Island as well as the famous Boblo Island. From there, as the river opens up into Lake Erie you can see Big Creek as it wraps around Knapps Island. This piece is designed to look like a reflection of the stars in the night sky.

We also include a special feature on this table by inlaying a Swarovski crystal diamond to mark the location of the client’s home on the riverfront. As our client says… “It is amazing what happens when the natural light hits this table...it is amazing how the blue jumps out in the light. This piece changes by the hour from black to gray to almost non existent blue to vibrant sparkling blue water. I sure hope when the sun is down that our overhead light fixture does the same… otherwise it is going to cost me a new light fixture.”
