This log round is from a 114 year old poplar tree salvaged locally and then air dried for 5 years. The large crack is filled with white frosted epoxy. Finish for the piece is a 3 stage colour custom made with a black/gray blend for the tones and the seal finish is 4 coats of matte lacquer.  The base is our custom designed 'tri-angle flat iron style' in bare metal for a modern industrial feel but can be powder coated to any colour including chrome.
