FLO Warehouse Cargo Doors

FLO Warehouse Cargo Doors - These 5`x 10’ cargo doors are massive and heavy. Developed by Japanese in the 18th century, the process known as ‘Shou Sugi Ban’ was used to give the wood panels a lot of dimension and texture.

The custom made steel frames are designed to allow the seasonal expansion and contraction of the individual panels and each is glued together so they all move as one panel. The door handles are simple 6‘ tall steel tube that keep the industrial styling while maintaining a clean look. Modified barrel bolt locks were used to pin the doors in the closed position. Custom made guide pins are screwed to the concrete floor to keep the doors moving in place and tight to the wall.
